ABOUT US
Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary was founded in honor of my husband Tom Baker who passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in June 2023. Tom understood my profound love of animals, and wishing only for my happiness, urged me to pursue my dream of starting an animal rescue. In December 2023 my passion project began.

SAVING LIVES ONE ANIMAL AT A TIME
Rescue | Foster | Senior Sanctuary
RESCUE
We rescue from the streets of Ellis County, taking in stray animals that that have been abandoned in the rural areas of south Dallas-Ft Worth. We see first-hand the large number of former pets that have been dumped in the country. We are committed to providing them shelter and care until a new forever home can be found.
FOSTER
We partner with other rescues to short-term foster dogs on their way to new homes. We also support "people" organizations who have dogs that may need temporary support.
SENIOR SANCTUARY
Many dogs that are surrendered or abandoned are seniors because the cost of care (and inconvenience) becomes too much for the owners. We provide a home full of love and comfort to live out their best lives.
