Living The Dream
Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary was founded in honor of my husband Tom Baker who passed away June 2023 from pancreatic cancer. Tom understood my profound love of animals and wanted me to follow my dream to start an animal rescue; and so this passion project began in December 2023.

Flying B rescues and cares for abandoned animals, providing them with love, shelter, and the chance for a new life. Through our dedication and community support, we strive to rehabilitate and rehome these animals, advocating for responsible pet ownership along the way. Together, we're building a future where every animal is valued and cherished.

Foster | Rescue | Senior Sanctuary
FOSTER
We partner with non-profits to foster animals in need. We support other animal rescues who need space, and work with animals needing more socialization. We also support organizations working with people during housing transitions.
RESCUE
We take in stray animals or animals that have been abandoned in the rural areas of south Dallas-Ft Worth. As a resident of Ellis County, we see first-hand the large number of former pets that have been dumped in the country. We are committed to providing them shelter and care until a new forever home can be found.
SENIOR SANCTUARY
Many dogs that are surrendered or abandoned are seniors because the cost of care (and inconvenience) becomes too much for the owners. We are converting several parts of our 5-acre property into a rescue and sanctuary for fostered, rescued, and permanent placement pets.
