​​Flying B is doubling down on our commitment to our community. We are already trying to "snip" the problem in the bud, but the animals need us NOW.
​Our goal is to have a public physical space where we can host volunteer days or adoption events the way we want to. That’s why our next big goal is to build a permanent home for the rescue—a place where the community can gather, meet our amazing dogs, and be part of something hopeful.

Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary exists to rescue vulnerable animals, restore their trust, and connect them with the loving homes they deserve. By combining compassionate action with community engagement and education, we’re building a movement where every life matters and every animal has the chance to thrive.

Flying B recently purchased five acres that will become our permanent rescue home—a place where more abandoned, neglected, and at-risk animals can find safety, healing, and a second chance. Even more exciting, we'll be sharing this campus with the forward-thinking Ferris Animal Services, creating a collaborative animal welfare hub where rescue, municipal animal services, private veterinary medicine, and the community work together to save more lives.

As we grow, we'll be renovating the existing agricultural barns into a rescue campus designed around the physical and emotional well-being of every animal in our care.

Cozy cottages where mama dogs and their puppies can recover, grow, and thrive in a safe, disease-free environment

A splash pad and pool for enrichment and cooling off during Texas summers

An enrichment and training center to help dogs build confidence and prepare for life with their new families

By sharing our campus with Ferris Animal Services, we're creating more than a rescue—we're building a place where innovation, collaboration, and compassion come together. Together, we'll expand access to care, strengthen lifesaving partnerships, and create better outcomes for animals throughout our region.

As our campus comes to life, we'll need volunteers of every kind. Whether you're a contractor, electrician, plumber, landscaper, carpenter, or simply someone willing to lend a hand, there's a place for you at Flying B. We'll also be looking for donations of building materials, appliances, supplies, and services to help bring this vision to life.
